Local High Schools Named To Best High School In America List
Local high schools have received designations as a Best High School b the U.S. News & World Report.
For the 6th consecutive year, SHS has been named to US News and World Report's list of the Nations Best High Schools. School officials issued a statement saying, “Thank you to each of you for all you have done to continue the excellence in teaching over the years!!”
For the second consecutive year Lawrence County High School has been named a Best High School in America. On Tuesday LCHS Principal Michael Adkins commended everyone who helped make the recognition possibly, saying, “Congratulations to the faculty, staff, parents and student body for recognition by U. S. News & World Report as a Best High School in America!”
